Adam Wishkovsky is a creative sales and marketing executive with an extensive track record of driving market share and profit for both private and public companies. He has a proven ability to grow annual revenue by expanding sales to major accounts in the Hardware, Home Improvement, Tools, Industrial & Construction Supply, Rental, Paint sundries, Material Handling and related markets.
Since 2008 (during a period of depressed markets), he generated over 20% increase in annual sales by hiring, motivating and leading the sales forces, by executing new sales initiatives and by understanding the importance of superior customer service.
Among his many achievements, Adam established a new Construction and Rental Division for Columbus McKinnon, developed and managed new programs for buying groups (STAFDA, Evergreen, Sphere1) and for national rental chains (Sunbelt/Nations, United, Hertz). He increased sales to United Rental by 50% in a single year and was selected as their “Core Supplier” of lifting and securement products in 2008-09.
Adam managed sales to all three COOPs (ACE, True-Value, Do-It-Best), resulting in a 500% increase in sales to DoItBest (DIB) and was awarded the DIB – Farm and Ranch Department Top Vendor Award. During his tenure at Oldham Saw Co., Adam’s company became the first supplier of cutting tools to Home Depot’s initial four (4) stores and is still available at all the stores. He opened and sold several lines to many key accounts including Lowe’s, Cotter & Co. (True Value), Home Depot, Snap on Tools, Safelite, Five Star Group, Guardian Industries and Home Hardware (CN).
Adam hired and trained several sales teams of representative agencies with network of over 150 agents servicing multi markets nationally and internationally. He Implemented award winning self-service merchandisers for chain and attachments (ColorLinks®); Introduced “The New Image of Safety” for Willson/Daloz Safety ; developed BladeSmith’s® new brand and marketing program reversing erosion of sales and customer base. Adam established a joint venture to produce carpet blades in Israel and traveled to India to secure a source for the AgWorks farm hardware from a local manufacturer.
In 1994 Adam established PRODUCT EDGE, a Sales Management Services Company, and currently serves as President and Principal (www.productedge.net). Adam founded and is the group leader of S.H.A.R.E, a community based program to support job seekers and offer educational job workshops free of charge; founded in 2009. Adam has earned his BS in Management & Finance and MBA in Marketing and International Management from Buffalo University (NY) and a BA in Social Studies & Labor Management from Tel Aviv University (Israel).
